Londres FC

Moving to another country to start a new life is hard.
Specially at the beginning, when you barely know anyone and don’t have friends.

Which is why, back in 2013, we've created a football collective that welcomes everyone – starting with a few folks from advertising.

What started with 6 guys willing to brave the London weather on a Sunday morning quickly turned into a group with 90 members.

And as the team grew, it became clear that we needed to step up our game.
That’s how our visual identity came to life.

“The English lion? The Brazilian ‘canarinho’?”

When coming up with Londres FC concept, we wanted a symbol that could truly represent us:
something that shouldn’t be taken that seriously (after all, a nutmeg can be worth more than a goal), fun and global.

So we got to the humble, slightly off-putting, pigeon.

Some would say our football is just an excuse to go to the pub afterwards. To which most of us would reply: yep.

The story of our group became intertwined with The Birdcage (Brewdog) in Columbia Rd, not far from where we play.
So much so that a partnership blossomed and their name is now immortalised in our kit.

A match made in… well, the pub.
